The Arrow Transport 4U Experience

Arrow Transport 4U LLC is a NEMT (Non-emergency medical transport) company owned and operated by Anna and John Lyon. They are a small, family owned company that was established January 10, 2023.

Anna and John have years of cherished experience working with those who have disabilities.

Anna Lyon's family owned and operated a Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) in Milwaukee County. Anna has her bachelor’s in psychology. She has over 30 years personal experience working with and transporting the elderly and disabled. Anna's employment history includes 3 years as a caregiver to the elderly /disabled, 5 years as a caregiver to a paraplegic, 14 years as the owner of an Adult Family Home, 3 years as a substance abuse counselor, 3 years as a social worker for the disabled and frail elderly.

John Lyon has over 30 years experience transporting the disabled. For 14 years John and Anna owned an operated an Adult Family Home and provided transport for those individuals. For 6 years he worked for the School District of Rhinelander where he received training in wheelchair transport, tube feeding, First Aid/CPR and Autism awareness.

Anna and John have lived in the Northwoods of Wisconsin since 2000.

WHY WE STARTED ARROW TRANSPORT 4U

In 2015 Anna's mother, Kathleen, had a major stroke and they took care of her in their home. She needed full care which included wheelchair transport. "We were blessed to have the Rhinelander Cab but they are busy and it was necessary to schedule 24 hour in advance for a ride. We missed numerous medical appointments due to the lack of wheelchair transportation." It was then that Anna and John purchased a wheelchair van of their own. "We took mom wherever she wanted to go, without limits! Such an amazing blessing."

In 2018 Anna's mother passed. Anna started working for a managed care organization and realized that the lack of transportation was a serious problem in the rural communities of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

They put together all the money they had and bought a commercial wheelchair van. Arrow Transport 4U was born!!

WHERE WE ARE NOW

We have 2 ambulatory vehicles and 2 wheelchair vans. Each of our drivers are chosen carefully with high standards of safety.
